KSMU is a National Public Radio affiliate that supports the university's public affairs mission through the production of daily news and information programs, operation of a Capitol News Bureau, training students, and broadcasting classical music along with a variety of other programs.

Ozarks Public Television is a PBS affiliate and a non-commercial educational entertainment institution dedicated to enriching the lives of area people through telecommunications and other related services.
